Trumpets of Revelation

Revelation 8 talks about seven trumpets that will sound. Some people believe that all the signs discussed in Revelation, i.e. trumpets, viles, etc. will happen all in the space of some short period at the end of time. Dean Odle tells us that the bible doesn’t say that at all and that he believes five out of seven trumpets have already sounded. In-fact the next trumpet will be hard to miss, because it will be World War III. See Dean’s compelling video,

Warning! Misrepresented!

“But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent. You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed…These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness.”
~2 Corinthians 11:3-4; 13-15a

Much of modern western Christianity is increasingly becoming the sort of people the apostle Paul strongly warned against in Ephesians 4:14. Those who are “…tossed back and forth by the waves and blown here and there by every wind of teaching.”

Welcome to modern-day church! Self-help, positive-thinking, spirituality cloaked- prooftexted Bible passages have replaced a Biblical worldview. Outright spiritual lies about Jesus is presented as truth in nonfictional and fictional books, movies, and sermons. These outright lies are sought out and enjoyed by most Christians today; drawn in by repetitive emotional appeals, loving sounds and pleasantries. Despite this fact, they continue to teach a “Jesus” who did not die as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. They preach a “God” who, in the end does not care what a person does or how a person believes. They fail to show biblical evidence of eternal consequences for sin.

Who will listen to their warnings?

The Letter of Jude

I love “The Letter of Jude.” Verse 4 brings us this strong warning ~

Believers have been mislead to interpret Jesus Christ’s Gift of Grace as license to live in their sin. They mistakenly believe all their sins will be “forgiven by His Grace” no matter what happens, because God knows they are not capable of being “sin free” – no one was sin free except Jesus – and so they think because God understands they are not capable of being completely sin free, He in turn will forgive them no matter what, because they try… and He knows their heart.

Friends THIS is the false teaching that Jude warns us about. The perversion of His Grace!

Believing is NOT enough! In order to accept His Free Gift of Grace and continue in our salvation IN HIM we are called to ACTION.

Jesus says we are to STAY IN His Mercy and Grace, by KEEPING ourselves FILLED WITH the Holy Spirit & PRAYING IN The Holy Ghost! We are TO KEEP the New Covenant; we do this simply by BEING IN the Word, fully ARMOURED WITH the FILLING OF The Spirit of God IN us, who overcomes the lust of our flesh (the old man made new) TO LIVE upright IN His Righteousness, LOVING God whole heartedly and to ALSO LOVE our neighbour as ourselves.
We are called TO SHARE the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. We must RECOGNIZE there are some among us who are “not saved” and whom will burn in the eternal hell of fire, if they do not accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. We must share The Word – The Full Gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord – with the unsaved in the correct manner as we are lead by The Holy Spirit.

This letter is very relevant to us right here and right now.

I encourage you to read it today and be blessed!

The Apostle Paul – Growing in the Word

Ephesians 2:18-22

18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

The Devil’s Deceptions

The devil can quote scripture all day long, spinning you in circles; quoting a bit from here and a bit from there. He can quickly make a real strong case to back up a specific teaching. It happens so quickly that it catches you by surprise. It can be confusing and extremely overwhelming, especially if you are not familiar with God’s Word. A true student of the Bible must look at the full context of any given scripture and examine it fully in order to validate the truth.

We recently witnessed how easily this type of deception can creep in alongside true biblical teaching.

My wife and I signed up for a free two week Bible based seminar on end times prophecy. An annual event hosted by a local church. The written agenda to teach strictly from the Bible caught our attention. The first few nights they kept their promise and only quoted and taught from scripture. But, at the close of the third night they quickly slipped in a couple spiritual teachings and quotes from an unfamiliar author. We just so happened to recognize the authors written name as the creator and founder of their doctrine. Oh, it’s real innocent folks. They got us comfortable, gave us a few snacks and just slid it in. Right under our noses. At the end of the evening as we went to leave, they lovingly offered us a “free” book to ensure we were truly saved. They only asked that we read it before returning to the seminar the following week. And there it was! The doctrine of men. So, as we prepared to exit through the doorway, we politely said, “No, thank you!” and handed the “free” book back to the usher, and continued on our way. Needless to say, that was the end of the seminar for us. We abruptly left, shook the dust off our feet and agreed not to return.

Polluting God’s word is something we just cannot allow in our lives. It robs believers all over the world of a true relationship with Him. So, when we put on the full armour of God, stay in the Word and be continually filled with The Holy Spirit; just as Jesus calls us to, we can be rest assured that He will guide our steps and sound the alarms when smooth talking men try to insert and pervert our faith with their ungodly teachings.

The Coming Deception

In Second Thessalonians, Chapter 2, we are told that God will send a strong delusion, meaning he will allow a delusion, likely perpetrated by Satan and/or the Antichrist. We believe that this great deception may involve the appearance of an attack on earth by aliens. We say this because we see an increase in reporting of UFO sightings. Dean Odle does an excellent presentation of this.

Rumors of War

We are warned that we will hear of “wars and rumours of wars”, in Mathew 24:6 and in Mark 13:7. Recently, the media reported a missile attack on Hawaii, which turns out to be a rumor. Watch the video on our newly endorsed YouTube channel, A Call For An Uprising

Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Mark 13:7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
